Originally created for Seidel's large-scale projection obsidian for the opening of the Museum of Romanticism in Frankfurt (Germany). Scheduled to be presented as part of Luminale 2020, the project was postponed to late 2021 due to the pandemic. Now, with the release of Oval's album ROMANTIQ in May 2023, the material finds new life.

The experimental music video explores abstract landscapes distilled from latent space. Digital tableaux evolve in slow motion, alternating between abstraction and reality, parallel to Oval's track. Humans remain visible only in their traces in these landscapes, creating an almost painterly imprecision reminiscent of decaying cellulose nitrate film or faded etching plates - and in their instability suggesting the dramatic shifts yet to come in the (re)production of human creativity...
