meander
How does it feel to enter an ever-expanding system whose complexity exceeds the capacity of one’s personal imagination? How to capture the fluctuating state of non-processed perception and continuously overwritten memories?
↓
meander is based on a dense audio-visual archive collected during years of travelling: From ancient Japanese temples, to European forests and Brazilian urban labyrinths, Seidel and Tippelt reconstruct and intertwine fragmentary perspectives into abstract tableaux of veering motion paintings, melded through a cinematic soundscape. An overwhelmed perspective on the displacements of the human commonalities in a globalized world.
